Shay picked up the little beanie baby dog tonight and said, “woo woo woo” several times. Then Olivia said, “What does a doggy say?” and sure enough!
She’s a little smarty-pants…her vocabulary now consists of:
mom
dad
up
down
out
na na (banana)
ba ba (bottle)
ow
don’t (always directed at kysa)
no
uh oh
woo woo woo
dog
ba (ball)
mo (more)
And of course she loves to wave hi and bye. She also does “three-pointer”, but she does not sign “more” like Kysa and Raleigh did so emphatically.
Shay is also quite the dancer—she really bops her head to the beat. She even tries to bend her legs and bounce up and down.
Kysa tries to sing the abc’s, and she is pretty good at certain letters, but she still has a language all her own. She also tries to sing “baby beluga” and it’s hilarious. She can count to ten, sort of. She’s really good and doing the odd numbers when I say the even numbers, but not quite as good the other way around. I heard her count all the way to ten by herself when we were riding in the car a couple weeks ago, but she won’t do it when asked. She’s a stubborn little soul.
Ty is at the state tournament with Emmett, Mike, and Doyle Barney. I was able to have all of Janet’s girl come over to spend the night since they don’t have school tomorrow. They are awesome and do such a great job playing with the kids. They entertain all three of them. I should be able to get some dishes and laundry done!!! I’m so lucky to be their aunt.
I went to Victor this afternoon for a broker open house. We scored a free night just for going, it was a networking thing. Sue watched the kids, and they like going to her house but always want to play with their cousins when they do, so it was nice to pick up the girls from gym on the way home.
Garrett Jones covered for me and helped with the basketball clinics at Apple today, which was so nice. He just got back from his mission to the Phillipines and stopped by the house yesterday. Kysa was born on his birthday.
