Shay is Crawling

Shay followed me from the living room, through the hallway, and into the kitchen last night. Now nothing is sacred. She is pulling herself up to look into the toy boxes and we have to be careful about what gets left on the floor. This is hard with Kysa, but we are doing our best.

Kysa loves going to nursery, especially singing songs and coloring. I'm trying to teach her that she can only draw in her coloring books--not in her regular books. Ha!

She still jibber jabbers a lot. Her vocabulary is growing all the time, but when she speaks in sentences it comes out like Mongolian or something, and I'm lucky if I can understand one or two words. But it's funny because when you ask her to repeat herself, she will say the exact same Mongolian sentence, so obviously she knows what she's saying.

I should note that Niki inspired me to start this blog--it's a lot easier than trying to update my Shippen family web site family and a good way to journal.

Raleigh is excited for his birthday. He's so cute--he always talks about "our birthday" when he talks to me about it, since we share a birthday. He goes to Miss Karla's preschool on Mondays and Wednesdays, the Apple Athletic Club preschool on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and gymnastics open gym with Kysa on Fridays.
